A message from the CASA Director

I am excited and honored to be writing to you in my new role as Program Director of Douglass Community Services- Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA).

I am honored to lead this incredible group of volunteers and build on the remarkable legacy of the past 15 years of service to the children of the 10th Judicial Circuit. I am firmly and humbly dedicated to the powerful mission of this organization; the mission to support and promote court-appointed volunteer advocacy so that every abused and neglected child can be safe from harm, establish permanency and have the opportunity to thrive. Our volunteers are highly trained and dedicated to assuring that children in Marion, Monroe and Ralls Counties have a voice within the system and a hand to hold throughout the process.

Yes, we stand for the child who has no voice, but we do not stand alone…

For those of you who have given tirelessly to providing children with dignity, respect and safety, we thank you. For those who are new to our organization, we welcome you and invite you to reach out to learn more about our mission and how you can become involved.

I am so very pleased to have this opportunity to continue to work with CASA and the 10th Judicial Circuit, and truly look forward to connecting with many of you around our shared passion to ensuring safe, permanent homes for all children.

Sarah Conner
